Deepak Maini is senior vice president and general manager of Walmart+. In this role, he oversees the strategy, execution and growth of the Walmart+ membership business, delivering clear, everyday value to members through smarter acquisition, stronger retention and an expanding benefits portfolio.

Previously, Maini served as vice president and general manager, Customer Digital Identity and Data Platforms, where he led the creation and scaling of Walmart’s foundational infrastructure that powers personalized, omnichannel experiences.

Before joining Walmart, Maini spent 11 years at Amazon in senior product and general management roles across advertising, Alexa and entertainment. His experience included serving as director of product development for Amazon Music, general manager for Fire TV content and advertising, and head of product and engineering for Alexa Skills, where he led developer monetization strategy and launched new programs with large cross-functional teams. Earlier in his career, Maini held roles at Publicis Sapient and Amdocs, focused on analytics, strategy and product management for digital experiences and customer platforms.

Maini holds a graduate certificate in machine learning from Stanford University, a master’s degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a bachelor’s degree from IIT Kanpur.
