Yoni first built a career as a musician, songwriter, and performer in Tel Aviv. Curious about technology’s potential for storytelling, he began experimenting with videos that allowed audiences to influence what happened on screen. Those experiments led him to co-found Interlude, later renamed Eko, a pioneer of interactive video.
As retailers and brands adopted Eko’s interactive video to showcase products, a deeper problem surfaced: product information remained fragmented across sources and systems. That insight led Eko toward its mission of making visual product information complete, useful, and trustworthy.
Today, Yoni is focused on EkoFile, a structured digital record that connects a product’s facts, media, and original sources. EkoFile is designed to improve catalog accuracy, accelerate content creation, and give commerce and AI applications more reliable information. His work combines creative storytelling, enterprise software, and more than a decade of experience deploying technology for global enterprises. He lives in New York with his family.
